Types of Computer Networks

Network Computer is a collection of some of the computers and other equipment that are connected to each other using certain rules. 1. Local Area Network (LAN)
Commonly abbreviated as Local Area Network LAN is a computer network whose network covers only a small area, such as campus computer networks, buildings, offices, in homes, schools or smaller. Today, most LAN technology based on IEEE 802.3 Ethernet switch using the device, which has a data transfer speed 10, 100, or 1000 Mbit / s. 2. Metropolitant Area Network (MAN)

3. Wide Area Network (WAN)

4. Intranet

Internet (interconnected-networking) is a computer network that covers all areas of the world (global) so everyone in this hemisphere can communicate and exchange data on the Internet
